PXL_20220615_000219050-01.jpeg

Super Simple Ingredients

- I cup of fresh, canned, or frozen corn

- 3 cloves of garlic

- 1 1/2 - 2 cups of cooked rice (day old cold rice works best)

- 3 tablespoons of butter (salted or unsalted)

- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce

- salt & pepper to taste

- green onions for topping

- OPTIONAL: 1 tbsp of mirin for some umami flavor!

Directions: 1. Heat up a little olive oil in a pan at medium high heat. 2. Sautee the corn, butter, garlic, salt & pepper to taste for about 3 min. 3. Add the day old cold rice and stir to warm up rice granules. Stir in mirin and soy sauce for about 4-5 minutes to cook and absorb the flavor. 4. Add to a bowl to create rice dome. Place a larger dish on top of the bowl, flip while still entact, then remove bowl to reveal your beautiful corn and rice masterpiece. 5. Top with some green onions for color and flavor.
